Game Rules: Bank Robbery

How to win: The winner is the player who finishes the game with the highest value of loot. Steal loot from the bank by assembling a gang strong enough to get past the security.

Game setup: Vault & Loot Cards: Separate out the vault cards into 5 separate piles, 1 to 5, in the centre of the table. Shuffle all the loot cards and place 5 loot cards face down under each vault card. Security Cards: Shuffle the security cards and place face down just in front of the vault cards. Gang and Action Cards: Shuffle together the gang and action cards to create the draw pile.

Starting the game: Deal 3 cards from the draw pile face down to each player. Pick one player to start and play continues clockwise. You may shuffle and reuse the discard pile as the draw pile if the draw pile runs out.

On your turn: On your turn pick up 2 cards, discard one card and play one card. You must pick up and discard but it is up to you if you play a card. Make sure to always play your hand in this order. You can choose to pick up 2 cards from the draw pile or the top card from the discard pile and 1 card from the draw pile. Place the card you choose to discard face up next to the draw pile. You can play a card by either placing a gang member on the table or playing an action card. Once an action card is played it is placed to the bottom of the discard pile. If you run out of cards, pick up 3 draw pile cards on your next turn.

Forming a gang: A gang is made up of 4 gang members: Brains, Muscles, Weapon and Vehicle. Assemble a gang by placing gang members down on the table in front of you.
You cannot have multiple of the same gang member down at one time; for example, 2 Brains cards. You can only assemble one gang at a time. You cannot swap a gang member for one in your hand. Once a gang member is placed on the table they must remain on the table. Once you have assembled a complete gang on the table you can take on the security. You take on the security as soon as your 4th gang member is placed on the table, you do not need to wait till your next turn.

Taking on the security: Draw and read the top card from the security pile to find out if you have been successful or not in passing the security. You must get passed 2 rounds of security to steal a vault. If you fail to pass the security your gang is defeated and placed to the bottom of the discard pile. You can then start to form a new gang on your next turn.

Stealing a vault: If you successfully get passed 2 rounds of security you can choose 1 vault to steal. You may look at the loot in the vault but keep them hidden from other players. Place your vault and loot cards face down in front of you on the table. Discard your gang cards to the bottom of the discard pile. You can then start to form a new gang on your next turn.

The end of the game: The game ends as soon as the last vault is captured. All players then total up the value of their loot cards. Going clockwise players announce their scores with the player who captured the last vault announcing first.
